Heubach has started up production for the manufacture of bismuth vanadate pigments. With a total capacity of 300 tpa, the production unit will manufacture bismuth vanadate pigments for use in industrial, automotive and waterborne decorative coatings. Heubach will also produce a new hybrid pigment based on rutile nickel yellow and bismuth vanadate via a patent process. The Heubach Group in Langelsheim is also investing €3 million in an innovative manufacturing technology for the production of inorganic colored pigments which will expand its capacity to 5,000 tons.
